Poll: 2018 GMT Pepsi Bezel Color Preference

I prefer the MK2 dial. Not a fan of pastels.

Whichever is victorious after this horse race, because 95% will jump on the bandwagon and start hunting for that sought-after bezel, which will be given a serious nickname...the Dark Knight’s Pepsi.

Then I quietly start stash them in bulks and make a decent profit when I flip. And the profits will be applied to my grail - Romain Gauthier Logical One...

Honestly I don’t really care. They’re both nice in their own way.

Mine looks like a Mk1. When I first bought it I thought the colors were off, but then I saw pictures of the early to mid 50s resin bezels and assumed that they were trying to replicate those colors.

I got mine in early August 2018. Anybody know what date it transitioned?

I bought mine in early August 2018. Anyone know when the colors transitioned to the Mk2?

For all we know, there could be many color variations. With how hard the bezel is to photograph, and with how easily it changes colors in light; it is going to be much harder to catalogue & distinguish than the aluminum inserts previously.

I agree with you. I like them both, and would be happy to obtain either version at MSRP, but I give the slight edge to the "mk1".

So..MK1 shall be more collectible in the future since it is rarer than MK2...............

Interesting...both threads on this subject have been closed by Mods...has Rolex been in touch with a ‘cease and desist’ request?

I fully expect this to be closed now

I like them both. Just as I'm certain I'll like all the slight differences to come.

Love the inclusion of 16710 colours in this thread. What the recent colour fuss is about really. LOL
