Screw driver size?
Hi, great forum. What size screw driver is required to remove the screws from a new Datejust 36 with a Jubilee band. I have a 1.6 that I use on my Sub but it doesn't fit the Jubilee. Thanks.

1.4mm on that bracelet. 1.2mm can work but isn't ideal.
Be sure the tip is sharpened properly or it will cam out and mar the head. There are tutorials online on how to sharpen watchmaker's screwdrivers. |

I would say “square-up” the 1.4mm tip if it has become worn or damaged. Sharpening would be the worse thing to do to a hollow ground screwdriver tip.

Watchmakers call it "sharpening" despite the tips being flattened to fit screw slot profiles. I fully agree you don't want a sharp tip but that wasn't what I suggested. Google how to sharpen a watchmaker's screwdriver to fit a screw head and you'll see the full process.
