I love the "clean" dials but then again I am biased since I do like to know the exact minute the minute hand is pointing to.

If only I could get convinced by the "minimalistic" design, I would get a PAM soon.

BTW.: the crystal on the PAM 236 is out of this world!
PAM 236 is a Daylight Chrono on bracelet, the model he has pictured is a 233. Two very different models with very different movements.

Use the 5 min markers for minute / second hand syncro.Once thats set,its clear to see if its 2 or 3 or 4 min past the 5 min marker.Remember with PAMs you have a lot of dial to work with !!

Oh and Bo,just a fair warning ... once you get that first PAM,its over !! The second one comes much, much sooner than you could have ever imagined.

Yeah, I know.

It's probably because I just re-read this other thread that 236 came into my mind.

As you state, very different watches altogether. The crystal on the 236 is also not nearly as domed as on the 233.

Not domed at all on the chrono, totally flat.

No offense, but I totally disagree. I would agree with you that the crystal LOOKS flat on pics, but I've had the watch on my wrist, and in fact the crystal is slightly domed.

The crystal is indeed slightly domed/curved

A few pics from yesterday... I had to have it serviced for a couple of issues the day after I bought it, one of the bracelet end link was too loose and the minute counter hand was a little too much to the right once reset, all is good now. BTW the numerals on the chrono hour counter are lumed, the tachymeter on the bezel adds a nice touch IMHO and the bracelet is well worth it if you care about bracelet, this one is great and adds a nice heft to the watch.

BTW that rubber strap is super comfy...

That will be my one and only PAM unless I can find a decently priced Mint 190...

I so totally agree

Roger that. I just checked the service papers of my old 236 and also 233, both had service issues. Crystal on the chrono is labled curved, 233 labled domed.
