They do not like it when you do it. I ran into this problem. It can cause issues in between employees and stores especially if you buy a lot of jewelry . I had this problem recently. One AD had a hulk and told me that if they sold it to me then I need to come over there and be on her list. The Owner of the chains does not like issues like this. Pick the store that best fits for you and stay with them. I wouldn’t even go into the other branches anymore.
You don’t want to be the person that goes to all the branches and ask about watches on multiple list. Then none of them employees will want to help you if they don’t feel you are loyal to them. Plenty of other people that want the same watches we all want. I finally became smart and decided I will only go to the one store and wait for that store. To many rumors or issues that can pop up. Oh by the way yes they will think you flip
