is Tudor the same???
I recently read a thread that dissected the new 3235 movement versus 3135. One thing that caught my attention was that in order to get a 70 hour power reserve the mainspring could no longer be replaced by itself due to the barrel walls being a lot thinner. This will definitely prevent many independent watchmakers from getting parts and increase future service costs.
I was wondering if Tudor had to do the same thing to get a 70 hour power reserve. If not, that is another major plus for Tudor. in fact, if someone could dissect and compare the in-house Tudor movement versus the 3235 and let us know the differences that would be appreciated. |
