My AD was murdered yesterday
My AD was murdered yesterday in New Orleans. Patrick Murphy was a great guy, I first met him years ago when he let me put my Submariner on lay away for a longer time period than they usually do at his store.
He sourced numerous diamonds for me when I was shopping for Holly’s engagement ring and then guided me through the process, her ring was made in house by Murphy’s. I’ll never forget him putting five diamonds on the counter, placing them into little wire holders, he’s explaining things to me about them when he says that the light in here doesn’t do them justice so outside we go, on the sidewalk in front of the store with 70K worth of diamonds between his fingers, one very trusting man. He personally engraved both of our wedding bands. Anytime I went in he was eager to talk watches, he wore a gorgeous white dialed DD. We were in last week to have my wife’s rings polished and the woman at the counter put the newest issue of Rolex magazine on the counter and said Tim, this is a gift from Patrick. Details are coming out about how this occurred but no matter how this happened the world lost a great man. RIP Patrick. https://www.pahomepage.com/news/i-te...phy/1820956968
