I know I have a problem when I see your 690, and despite not having one myself, I want to go home and put on my 514 to be as close as possible. I just love that Radiomir 1940 case. Even at 47mm, you can really dress it up with a gator strap!

Wg blro black dial- classic Rolex design, pm, ultimate stealth watch due to the ss model, great backstory to the revival of the classic, wg and pastel bezel colors just work.

Milgauss z-blue- least Rolex like with the crazy color combo that works, and a fun model that doesn’t take itself too seriously. Any watch with a orange lighting bolt second hand can’t be a moody, serious wis investor watch. The green sapphire is so unique in the watch world and done just right. Sunburst dial? Can never go wrong with a Rolex sunburst.

OP I agree, perfect combo. But, in reality its like proposing which would TRF readers prefer, winning lottery ticket one or winning lottery ticket two

We all want the winning lottery ticket, but, we also know it’s irrational. If those are your watches, you improbably (on purely odds basis) got tickets 1&2 so, congrats.

For me, these two deliver the best 1-2 punch because:
-GMT for daily wear and travel needs
-Daytona for daily wear and dress ocassions
-both rugged and water proof
-both super comfortable
-both classics that will last a lifetime

What’s your best 1-2 punch, if you could only have two?

(PS if I needed a trio collection I would add my SD4K)

I am not a big fan of the Pepsi bracelet but if it is a Rolex duo I can't argue with those two choices. Nice work.

Thanks! The AP and Daytona would be the two, but the Pam 183 is a fun piece.

Lovely PAM!

Unfort in my “two watch” world my PAM would not make the cut

It would be super hard to give up my PAM911

Sub as the daily, Pepsi for the weekend. Jubilee also means it dresses up pretty well for special occasions too imo.

Wow!! that platinum DD ( with green dial correct?) and the daytona are awesome! That red chrono hand on the daytona just makes the watch "sparkle"

almost makes me want to start moving to to PM models!

Thanks!!

But if push came to shove and you had to choose two from your great collection which two would you pick???

(i didn't mean the thread to be what is the best duo. Because everyone is different and have different needs/desires/uses....but for TRF to pick two from their the collection)

Lots of amazing watches on here! This is my current best duo, looking to add a Datejust 41 and I'll feel somewhat balanced.
