Hong Kong International Jewelry Show
visited the show and browsed around.
saw a few great vintage and contemporary pieces of Royal Oaks but as was to pull the trigger on a few models, a question arises. some booth/dealers says they'll be able to send/mail the warranty card+papers a week after the purchase because its located at the head office in Dubai. now i asked a few vendors (all registered as different sellers on their booth) and ones that didnt have their warranty cards on them (yes the latest credit card sized warranty cards for AP) all said their head office is in Dubai. not trying to be skeptical but what are the odds of that? a few Indian vendors all said their head office was in Dubai and have branch offices in Tsim Sha Tsui (Hong Kong), but somehow the warranty cards of watches they have on display at the fair here in Hong Kong is in Dubai. really want to purchase a few particular model but just irked (no offense if there are vendors at the show thats also viewing this) about this. Need some input/advice on the more seasoned professionals here. greatly appreciated --------PS for those that are planning on coming here within a short period to source out these watched from AP, no good. went to all of the listed Audemars Piguet in Hong Kong, only the one in Harbor City had a two tone 15450SR, the rest of the boutiques all had the frosted gold, the ones with diamonds, a lot of 11:59 and Offshores, but none 15400 15450 15202)------------ |
