15500ST black or grey dial
I am going to put my deposit on 15500. My SA told me black dial is more demand than grey dial. Should I go with black as well for the safe side? The grey looks like a little bit washed out. I don’t have a chance to see both dial color in person. Which dial color will you pick?

It seems like the black is in more demand but both are beautiful. Black is the safer bet but the grey looks beautiful in person. (assuming its the same as the 400).

I was under the impression grey is in more "demand" than black. Just a quick check on chrono and I think I see grey fetching a higher price as well on 15400. |

Grey is a more unique color. I am trying to get one myself.

Hmm, you might be right. My limited data points were just based on calling a few different ADs and boutiques and most had longer waiting lists for the black.

I slightly prefer the grey but both are nice. I think many buyers would default to black because on a 20k watch it’s the safe choice. And for many, the 15400/15500 is the first or second AP and somenting safer is an easy choice.

I tend to prefer black/blue against SS as grey and SS are too similar, but AP grey is often interesting and dynamic.

Black is a classic but i think overtime the grey would be preferable / would like more.
