AP Service Documentation

My AP ROO Safari has just come back from the service It has been conducted by AP but transaction was done through the AD here in Stockholm'.

AP has not provided any formal description on the service, appart from a paper stated that they had the watch for service. My AD claimed that this is a normal procedure.

Is that really the case?

I had a similar issue a few years ago. The ad wouldn’t provide details stating they weren’t provided any. Also I couldn’t speak to AP directly as I went though the ad. From that point on I go through toils to only service direct through AP. On a visit to Clearwater I also found out I don’t get some items the ad should have given me. Not ad’d are like this but this ad has had complaints in my area before.

Ask to speak with a manager for a detail report as AP would have given that to the ad for sure. If not contact AP and they will sort them out but the nfo will eventually come through the ad because the transaction was through them.

When it comes to scenarios like this any 'proof of work done' you request would be on a letterhead from your AD.

The paperwork AP sends to the AD is between those two parties and contains information 'not for your eyes' such as the wholesale price. Despite it being your watch you are not a customer of AP (in this situation).

Thanks, I didn't know this. Does this mean AP charges the AD a wholesale price, and then the AD charges the customer the official prices listed on the AP website?

That is correct, all brands do.

The same thing happened to me last year. After that I sent an email to AP Spain asking for the details of the works carried out. They offered to send it to me by ordinary mail. I accepted and they did so.

With nymans you only get that white paper with blue text/checkboxes and of course the credit card slip.
Btw, how long was the watch away for?
