I had a 1983 (this was 1992) Dodge Omni. Used to put $2 in the tank when it was empty just to keep me going for another day.

Bi pics, was pre digital era, but had a 1972 Capri, that we covered in brand new Molson Canadian Beer labels, then coated it so they wouldn't peel.
From a distance it looked like a snake skin, up close, you could see the almost 1,000 perfect labels.
Did I get stopped by the police regularly? YES

I rode my 3 speed bicycle to High School everyday, rain or shine. The school was located 20 miles (approx 32kms) from home.

My first car was a rebuilt and restored 1965 Pontiac GTO convertible. Not my picture but same color. It felt like a powerboat on the road with strong engine and deep V8 burble sound, no brakes and numb power steering.
