why I decided for Rolex instead of panny
I think panny's are very nice, but every time someone asks for the 40mm panny's every pan aficionado say's its no good, it's like a digital rolex, or a ferrari station wagon. so what was i going to buy? size?, and i really liked the 40mm gmt luminor pam 00244, but hey it would look odd, a 40mm panny is a no no according to 90% of the posts on the panny section, and for me 44mm is just cartoonish i could probablly wear it to go clubbin' or somehting but not everyday, it just has a lot of presence. another thing that bothered me is that I was going to pay big buck's for a movement found on watches that are not even remotely as expensive as panerai's. on another note, they are very very very nice watches, and i mean it, but for me, my very personal opinion Id have to buy every rolex i want before I put my money down for a panny.
Oh i bought a gmt IIc to compliment my sub and expy |
