Atmos has arrived
After our trip to Vegas, and seeing the Jaeger Atmos at one of the "chain stores", we ( my wife & I) feel in love with this clock.
I have wanted a nice mantle clock for about 20 years now, waiting until I saw the "right one". Well, I had called my AD from Vegas, and sure enough, they could get me one for a very good price. She called yesterday to tell me it had finally arrived in there store, but I was on a working road trip & 400km's from the AD, so I had to wait until today. Made the trip during my lunch break. She is now safely set up in her new home. Hope you like it as much as we do. From a distance, I know the mantle is a bit cluttered now. Here it is, with my Panerai 005 resting ( no I do not have any straps for the Jaeger yet ) A bit closer view I cannot set the calender function accurately until the end of the month.. ps, I think it only comes in French ( Viva la France ) Same goes for the Lunar phase, I think I am close, but will know on when the next full moon arrives Side view of the workings My attempt at a macro

Beautiful, John. Although I suggest you lose the macro. It detracts from the other much better pics.

I changes the Macro, It's a bit better, The first one I was shaking too much with excitement. This new one shows the tiny chains & gears much better.

Excellent acquisition.
The 18K YG and the roman numerals are a class combination. My clock is going very well, these clocks are fantastic. For those of you who don't own one of these clocks then you need to get with the program. |
