T Swiss Made T dial with no lume
Hi,
I have a ladies Rolex Precision (cal 1310) which is confusing me. The dial is marked 'T SWISS MADE T' at the 6 o'clock but there is no visible lume anywhere on the watch. Does anyone know why this might be? Thank you! |

Probably shouldn't put much into anything printed on a redial.

Genuine dial that has been repainted by a watchmaker.

Oh that's interesting, thank you!
So maybe the dial in its original state had tritium hour dots (which I think is unlikely?) or the hands had tritium markers but were replaced at the time the face was restored. So the dial would have originally had 'T SWISS MADE T' and the watchmaker repainted what was there but removed all traces of the original lume...? |

Has anyone actually seen a ladies watch of this type with lume anywhere on the original face?

Moot point in this case, but there are Rolex factory dials (not redone) that were marked as tritium but had no lume. I used to own an 1803 that had no lume with “t” markings.
