OP thanks for this info but a bit sad really. a new watch announced and none available for years. does this mean that the blue dials go to VIPs etc as i presume they are being made at this time in some quantity.

I think all of them are going to VIPs at this point. I was at Watches and Wonders in Miami a couple weeks ago and was ready to put down the deposit for a grey one. They told me that they already have a list of prior clients and that it would be very difficult for me to obtain this watch. They took down my information and said that they would contact me later.

My guess is a week max. Guessing these are going "on tour" throughout the boutiques. They are doing something similar at the Beverly Hills boutique from March 12-17th. I have an appointment on the 13th around lunch if anyone local wants to join me!

Ap 15500

I have a deposit on a blue 15500. Boutique said will arrive
in July. They have all the 15500s on display in nyc boutique thru sat. I live at the jersey shore just dont feel like hassling going into Manhattan. If anyone checks them out I would appreciate their opinion. Thanks

Did you place the deposit at the NYC boutique?

I just placed a deposit as well. Interesting process.
My SA had to check with the sales manager it was allowable to add me to the list.
I then was given an online link to place 25% deposit through AP website.
I’m being quoted a 3-6 month wait time for blue dial.
Interesting I was told some on the list were already in line for a 15400 but never got it by the time it was discontinued.
We’ll see what happens, at least it’s refundable!

Congrats on your deposit ! From my understanding if you're allowed to place a deposit at a boutique, you're basically guaranteed a watch within six months. Were you already on the list for a 15400?
