Do any men wear the 37 mm rose gold ym on OF?

Just curious. I would think for smaller wrists it would look just fine.

I love the watch, I would like to think it would work for a man.

I’m buying it soon for my wife and might sneak it out in my wrist a time or two.

Some reviews say women’s Rolex, others say unisex or men can wear it w/ no issues S it’s similars to older submariner size.

Buy it if you like it!

Way too small. Not necessarily the case size but the dial size, a 36 mm datejust has a bigger dial than this

Convince her to get the 40mm, then you both can share

Had a teacher in high school (almost 20 years ago) who wore a 35mm TT YM. This was right around when I was first starting to like watches, and one day I complimented him on it. He said something about previously wearing a Sub, but finding it way too big (and he was not a small guy). Personally, I find something more feminine about RG in general, but the size itself isn't feminine.

Never seen one in person. The 40 might work for both of you assuming she doesn’t have tiny wrist

Rose gold seemed pretty cool to me, I don’t think it’s feminine but my wife seems to think so. She will wear the 37 eventually.

Guessing the fat bezel makes it wear smaller on the wrist, but it’s a sick watch and as a man I would definitely wear it if the fit was right. The black/rose gold combo is quietly perfect.

Funny, I was thinking of asking the same question. As I have a 6.5in it seems like it might work well. On the other hand, the SD4K fits fine so I suspect the 40mm would work well.

I would wear it without hesitation, I am a guy 6'2 170 lbs with 6.25 inch wrists but I think rose gold looks awesome. It's bigger than my 1601.

My wife loves hers in 37mm. She likes that it’s less bling than the 36 mm President. Very comfortable. It does look great on her.

Edit: that doesn’t really answer the question. It would be a little small for most men, but a smaller wrist could pull it off.

I am personally not crazy about rose gold - I don't think it matches well with my skin tone. With that being said, 37MM is not a bad size.

I could pull that off, though I'd never spend a dime on a 22×× caliber, fancy silicon hairspring or not...

I had the 116655 in 40mm and it wears relatively small compared to a 40mm Sub or GMT. I would say the 40mm YM wears like a Daytona. Maybe the 40mm YM is the way to go for you, at least it is easyer to sell if you dont like it anymore after some time.

BTW: Great watch!

As long as you are comfortable wearing it that's all that matters!

Why don’t you like these movements? I haven’t really heard anyone say anything good or bad about them...

I saw the 37mm and 40mm side by side in a case recently and to be honest there really isn’t much difference.

There is nothing about that watch that makes it a "woman's" watch.

6.5” wrist here and the 40mm fits great. The case shape is much more svelte when compared to SubC or 116710.

That said, if the 37mm works for you, get it.

32mm YG and I don’t think twice about the size. Life’s too short to worry about someone judging you for the size of you watch - enjoy!

This is frequently the case however on the wrist small size changes can make a difference.

That is one thing that would concern me; the ease of selling it if for some reason I wanted to. Oh wait, I've got a Platona, never mind!!!

If you caught any of the Masters Phil was wearing a RG YM during his round - I haven't been able to find good pictures of it but the link below has a so-so one. The article says it was a 40mm but I had guessed it was the 37 while watching. IMO it looks too small for him

Better shot here (#3):

Definitely a 40.

I'm more interested in whether that is, indeed, a vintage (pre-crown guard!) Sub that Scott is wearing, and whether he'd ever actually play in it?!?!

Interesting. Then I can only assume he donned it post-play, as automatic watches and golf don't go well together. It's one thing to (theoretically) wreck a modern watch you're paid to be seen playing in, but quite another if it's your own, meticulously sourced, vintage piece.
