Rolex Submariner 16610 Authenticity Check Please

So, I bought this watch a little less than a month ago to commemorate graduating from college, and someone has just brought to my attention that they think the Lume pip is fake and it has me a bit worried.
I purchased the watch from a well respected used watch dealer in my area and had no reason to doubt their credibility. I have checked the watch serial number as well as the bracelet serial and they both match up to he period correct for what that’s worth..
Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks!

If in doubt take to watchmaker to verify all parts are factory Original. That will give you peace of mind.

Looks fine to me but the lume pip looks more like one that has aged (seen many times on more vintage pieces) as it is looks a little creamy

Saw your post on Reddit, haha! Why not just stop by an AD and verify it with a watchmaker?

I would be more worried about the watch than a lume pip, if the insert is not genuine Rolex then easy to replace cost around £40 from Rolex but it looks fine to me.

I’m going to stop by in the next few days to get it verified, have a pretty busy schedule until after Easter so I figured I’d check with the brain trust on here first to see what everyone thought lol

I have a 16610. Yours looks like mine. I purchased my 27 years ago from an AD and it has only ever been out of my possession when it was at RSC being serviced. Have it checked for peace of mind but I think you are OK.
