Very nice.

I'm gonna need to get busy and have a bunch more kids, then.

For me I like New things so both my boys got to both peel the stickers. I have peeled many watches and consider it a right of passage. Harder to do now but not impossible. Thats just me and as you see theres different sentiment here.

Also Rolex is money and can be traded in. I told both boys if they didnt like the style I would help them if they wanted and they could go with me to Davids place and pick out what they wanted instead with cash as appropriate.

I bought both 116710LN's for $6500 each back then so they have appreciated quite nicely. May not always be the case but its nice to know they went up in value. So far a few years later and both boys still have the same watch. Its more sentimental to them from what they tell me which makes Dad happy.

Another question is, assuming everyone will pass down their watch later on in life (eg. graduation etc), would you tell them that you will give them particular watch or would it be a suprise?

I wouldn’t tell them if it’s for an occasion such as graduation or wedding, etc. but if they are adults and have expressed interest later on then I would.

What a great thing to hand down as a Father. BTW, the diamond settings on your DD... those are my favorite. Looks better than the metal around the edges. Great trio!
