Asthmatics is a personnal thing and it seems as though the main aesthetic point for the Rubber B is the curved ends, IMO curved ends are better suited to metal bracelets. Rubber straps are a more sporty look more suited to non curved ends. As I said each to their own.

IMO curved ends are more suited to metal bracelets where rubber is a more sporty/leisure look more suited to non curved ends. When I first started this thread I wasn't aware of Infofrane so it's worked out well....

It funny, I flinched more when buying a $200+ piece of rubber compared to $10,000 for the watch (DSSD) haha there is something special though about this quality and it is also tough to take off. Gives a completely new feel and look!

I've got both Rubber B and Isofrane. Regardless of comparative cost, I prefer the Isofrane on the Sub. For me the Rubber B is a bit hard and uncomfortable and looks a bit too finished for a tool watch. Also the buckle holes are a bit too far apart for a perfect fit and the tang buckle sticks up when fastened. The Iso is buttery soft and comfortable, close together buckle holes mean perfect adjustability, the tang buckle is superb and, on an old Sub like mine, the Iso has a more retro authentic feel.
