Yeah, I considered the jubilee but I just love the oyster band so much and felt it complimented the dial better. To me, the oyster band looks more modern and with a dial that has subtle bling, I felt it didn’t call for something as traditional feeling as the jubilee. Looks great on both of course, that was just the vibe I was getting.

As for the other posts and choosing the dial for a DJ2, since I saw someone with a presidential when I was younger with a black pearl dial, I always said I would get a Rolex with a pearl dial. Over the years I fell in love with the white pearl and given I think it looks so great on this watch, I have never seen one person with this combination. I feel it is unique on top of loving the way it looks.

Of course this is all subjective and maybe I should have gotten the pearl on a higher end Rolex but I don’t have any regrets. I love it. Got it for a great price too, 13k no tax from an AD (paid cash).

Now I have my eye on a Sub but I do love the jubilee bracelet so I can’t decide on a Sub or the GMT Cosmopolitan with the jubilee. First world problems I guess. Going to try some on this weekend if I can find.
