i agree it would be popular but just saying it kind of defeats the purpose of it being an YM...AKA sort of a sub with upmarket metal.

16622. Your quick giveaway is the 5 digit models, the end links stick out slightly from the lugs. On the 6 digit models, they are flush like all other Rolex models.

If it were platinum or white gold in addition to the rose gold, with that cerachrom bezel? That would be a stunner, in my book.

Ym

I recently picked up a Gold YM MOP with a Serti Dial. Pretty much decided that I now need a 116622. Not sure which dial. I have always liked the Plat dial but some of the photos of blue and Rhodium Dial are eye catching. Also, I seen some say Rhodium Dial and some say Dark Rhodium dial. Is there a difference???

Very nice serti MOP dial, beautiful. Only one rhodium colour dial (painted brass).

I love mine, but it's not No.1 in my rotation.

Loved my YM, wore very comfortably. Not sure why it doesn’t get the respect it deserves. I suppose because there are a lot of fine watches in it’s price range.

I personally love the 116622 YM. I think they made a mistake discontinuing the Platinum dial with the Platinum bezel.

My first Rolex love was the Pt YM. I bought an homage and found it hard to read. I love the YM with the ceramic insert and OF strap as well. I think the non ceramic inserts are too easily dinged which makes them less desirable as well. They are beautiful watches.

Recently checked out the rose gold YM on oysterflex at an AD, and was excited they had it as I've always liked it but had never seen it in the flesh. Excellent watch. Will never buy it though, PM Rolex makes no sense to me when it starts getting into the Lange money range....

The platinum dial is a classic. This and the old 16710 GMT were always my most coveted Rolex. The sparkle of the dial in bright sunlight is mesmerising. Here’s mine..

This was the first Rolex I really fell in love with and brought me to the brand. I saw the 116655 and was blown away, but it was way out of my price range. Then I saw pictures of the rhodium dial with the azure blue accents and became obsessed.

I love the reference. The 116622 was my second buy and the 116655 was my third. The YM sets itself apart from the standard offering adding a level of elegance and sportiness.
