GMT 126710BLRO insurance

What have you insured your BLRO for? Considering it would be next to impossible to get another from an AD if you needed to replace have you insured for market value?

If so how was that process with your insurer?

Call me crazy but whichever route you go, I bet it’s the same as insuring your 16610 and 216570.

If you want to insure it for scalper value then I presume you’d need an independent valuation.

I just renewed the insurance on my BLNR for another year through Jewelers Mutual. Agreed upon valuation is for $10K which is the MSRP+tax.

I'm going to try to get an appraisal for market value, Jewelers Mutual said they would ensure for the amount of the appraisal.

There have been some threads on this for Daytona and bottom line is that some insurers will insure for appraised value even if above MSRP. Remember though that the higher the insured value, the more you pay.

True but I'm more than willing to have it appraised and insured at actual market value of item in the event of an actual loss.

I insured my BLNR for $15k through Jewelers Mutual. It was appraised by the AD at that price. This was I believe in January.

With my SubC that I picked up a week ago, my AD will only appraise at the MSRP. Some policy change was the reason given to me.

Jewelers Mutual will insure at the appraised value. You will have to get that appraisal from whoever does appraisals and knows the Rolex market conditions. Do remember that your premium will be based on the appraised value.

The AD that sold me my BLRO put a MSRP value and a Current Market Value on the appraisal.
