Camo strap on RG 44

Put the new brown camo on my RG 44 and really like the look of it, matches up well. I was debating which camo strap looks best, green and yellow looks OK too, but after seeing Ben's pics I knew this would be best and indeed it is.

It’s an official AP strap so try your nearest AP boutique.

Thanks guys, really enjoying it, bought a lot of camo gear this year, caps, trainers, shirts so this fits right in.

You can order it from any AP AD. Mine took 3 weeks to come in.

Looks great, Neil!

The white subdials really help pull it all together.

Thanks, yes, without them it wouldn't quite work, the brown goes well with the RG as well so it all ties in together.

The brown goes well with the RG, looks better on his watch than the one it comes with, good choice.

Looks great Neil. Nice combo. I still got nostalgia for this piece from time to time.

Apart from the buckle, this watch doesn't seem to have a scratch on it unlike my PPs, and now there are these new camos plus the GP and original rubber there are many looks to it now, so very happy with mine.

The white subdials look cream a lot of the time so matches the cream slashes nicely. Brown bezels don't really do it for me, like on the Platona, so I prefer the black bezel.

Maybe a silly question, but does the camo pattern vary on the straps or are they all 'printed' the same, I wonder?

Do you change the straps yourself, Neil?

I looked at Ben's one and it is quite similar, I care most about the top of the 6 o'clock side as that is what I look at most of the time and they were very similar. I had Ash at Harrods change it over as she ordered it in for me and wanted to wear it for lunch.

She was very cool, I gave her a bit of a hard time about the lack of RO stock and she really asked for it when she asked me about the Code, I did like the chrono in RG but the dial was too generic etc, but she fought back well and said you have to buy what you love and not worry about the resale, and I said that is fine if you can switch off the internet and not get enabled etc, it was spirited but she was probably sick of me by the end.

That's good. I first met Ash last year when she worked in the Breitling Bond St boutique and I was very impressed with her manner and enthusiasm. Ash said her ambition was to join AP and I mentioned her to Daniel at London, and now she is at AP. Mind you, Ash was already on Daniel's 'radar', but I'd like to think I helped!

Ah, that's where I had seen her before, she looked familiar! Tried on a yellow Seawolf there last year.
