Great story. Appreciate that you shared all the details with us. I had a similar experience when shopping for my first Rolex last year, an Explorer. Called many AD’s only to be told they would put me on their list but none had one in stock. A few months later I received a call from an AD in Charlotte, NC, about 2 hours from my home. She got one in and sold it to me. I am very grateful to her for doing that because these SS models are still scarce and in demand. This year I called her again and told her I wanted a Sub. Again, a few months later I received a call and once again she pulled through for me. Picked up my new no date Sub last week at retail, $7500.00. Did a little googling and found after market prices in the $9000.00 to $10,500 range. So crazy. I plan on buying all jewelry gifts from her from now on. So glad I met her. Finally, I must say I also spent many hours on YouTube. Youtube is addictive and there are so many Rolex fans and experts on it that it is sooooooo easy to get hooked on Rolex. Youtube should receive commissions from Rolex. LOL
