Do you own any Rolexes? are you here just to learn? this is a great place people are very friendly, a great place to hang around and kill lots of time and get in debt.

I just have a quick question to any TRF member concerning SS DAYTONA. Which one is more rare, is it the white face or the black face daytona. Thanks everyone.

I would prefer the white face, but I think both are equally hard to get.
but maybe now in these times with the economy being so bad it might be a little bit easier I know a few places that have both in stock. they're not authorized dealers but I have purchased from them before and they're great to do business with.

Hello and welcome Robert.

You sound like a very nice person.

Enjoy your stay here at this great forum.

Don't get hooked though or you will end up poor but with a lot of Rolex's.

Hi Robert and welcome to TRF.
In answer to your question nobody knows Rolex production data, so it is impossible to say if either is more rare than the other, but the general concensus of opinion is that the Black is possibly harder to find than the white, but there is no evidence to support such a claim.
I had the Black as I prefer it over the White it is an amazing watch, enjoy it
I'd have another if they price hadn't almost doubled since I purchased my one.

Thanks spark for your honest thoughts. I just notice that most of the website are selling the white face. I bought mine from Ben Bridge for $9200.00 with the old bracelet. I was told the price will go up by March for 9925.00 with the new bracelet. Some AD dealer is selling the watch old or new bracelet at 9925 already, but Ben Bridge price will remain 9200.00 dols until March, of course that is with the old bracelet.
