i like the GV, and even though is doesnt have a date, its a good thing, the dial is clean..and not distracting letting the green crystal stand alone in all its brilliance.....GO FOR IT!

I had one and flipped it when they were still commanding a premium on the secondary market, I guess I was blinded by dollar signs. I do like the watch, and I wish I still had it in a way but I have to say the only thing I do not like is the second hand. If it was straight like some of the earlier versions of the watch, I would have probably kept it. Anyone remember Thor, that's who I think of when I look at the second hand. If you like it, buy it, it is a overall beautiful watch.

I've actually seen and tried on Eddie's GV when he was in Auckland a couple of weeks ago. I did like it, but the absence of date was a put off.

For me, the DATE and CYCLOPS are a must.

The original Milgauss had the "Lighning Bolt" second hand.......it was the later ones that did not and had the straight second hand.

Go for the GV! With your collection, you can do away with the date on this watch.
