Well, the second one is kind of cool, but, I don't find it attractive at all compared to the RG Daytona.

One watch has "presence" ...the size of 20 football fields
The other, in the USA not even it's own mother knows that it exists.
The quality is good but no way near Rolex quality.
The values...ah...the values..?

Is it so bad to buy a Girard-Perregaux?
The price is almost the same, the gp 17.600 and the daytona 22.000 but can have one for 17500 euro

But you have a flyback function on the GP, is this a pluspoint, because I've never seen a chronograph with a flyback thing...

some find the Everose somewhat feminine, that's why I left open a spot for a WG version instead of the RG...
But honestly I really like the RG one, it has a lot more style than the GP but less complications (date, gmt, am-pm, scratchproof case) and looks very sporty and young.

Nothing against GP, but that dial has too much going on for me...I feel the same way about many Breitlings too.
Between those two, the Daytona wins.

I suspect the GP will look far better in person than in a Photoshopped image. As far as quality goes, GP is superb. Their cases fit so well to the curvature of the wrist. I happen to think the SS or WG ww.tc is absolutely stunning.

Didn't you have a GP similar to this one? As you state, it was not as "busy" on the wrist.

the GP is expected due September 2009, it just came out in Geneve, so for that watch I have to be very patient (even to see it in person) while I can buy the Daytona today if I want to...

Assuming both are the same price, with the Daytona you get a full-gold watch versus what appears to be a PVD-coated S/S watch on a rubber strap. Of course the GP's movement offers more functions but a) would you use any of them and b) it's a lot more expensive to service. My conclusion is that there's really no question that the Daytona is the better choice.

Thank god the Daytona goes to those who appreciate a chrono with 72hr power reserve isn't that rare

I've tried on another ww.tc and honnestly this watch isn't as pretty as on pictures, so not going to buy a GP, but then again my AD showed me some pictures of the new JLC Navy Seal master compressors, and whoaw the Chronograph and Alarm are real beauties... and with a price of 10k not so expensive too....

I would go with the Everose Daytona.
The only reason being, is for me the dial on the GP is just to busy.
Learnmore, just seen your stunning photos of your Daytona.
Congratulations on the dial combination.
I also like the one that has the Arabic numerals on it.
