Question on Bluesy sub dial color?

Is it a royal blue or does it have a tint of purple? Hard to tell in pics sometimes.

Also, is it the same color as the blue on the BLNR?

Question on Bluesy sub dial color?

It is blue, but a unique blue to the point that it can appear to “shift” colors in different lighting. Especially strong side lighting yields a different hue than direct.

I can’t say with certainty if the original 5-digit Bluesy is the same as the BLNR, but the newer 6-digit models look close.

The newer Luminova dials are a blue. The older tritium dials can fade to a a purplish hue.

Right, older ones (5 digit?) can look purpleish over time.

and some ceramic models made early on have the flat blue dial like the WG smurf, whereas the newer ones after 2014(?) are all sunburst.

This.

The ceramic ones are more royal blue. It’s a stunner in person.
