126715 - RG GMT II C - Why Black Dial?
Rolex's latest GMT's in RG and TT are real stunners. Why do you think Rolex went with a black dial for both the full PM 126715 and for the TT 126711? Firstly, I think that a flat brown dial (most would probably prefer a sunburst) would look really nice. They could have left the black dial for the TT 126711 and used a nice brown dial for the full PM 126715 model - similar to what they did with the pepsi GMT (black dial for SS and blue dial for WG). Kind of wish they went with a brown dial for the full RG. Brown complements RG really nicely.

You’re right, a brown dial would’ve really killed it

I can just picture a rose gold Gmt with a chocolate sunburst dial.

I am holding out for a ceramic GMT with a sunburst dial. Until then, I am sticking with my original Rootbeer 16713.

I'm glad that they went with the black dial. I find that it achieves the perfect balance.
