From Rolex's current line up, it would be the green dial Daytona.

If it had to be a Rolex it would be YG DD 36 with black or green dial, but if I could only have one gold watch I would have a YG or RG dress watch with leather strap similar to a PP Calatrava or VC Patrimony preferably between 36-39mm with an aesthetic similar to this;

I have plenty of SS watches for a sportier look. Don’t need (but do want) it in gold.

There are 3 that I would have to see in person before making a decision: WG GMT blue dial, WG Daytona OF, YG Daytona OF Paul Newman dial.

Thought WG was the material of my grail. That was until I tried the RG Daytona - a real stunner! I have yet to try the YG DD which I hope will be my sole PM

I prefer my YG on a sports watch. Not ready for a DD yet. And I have owned a couple full YG sport watches and the YG Daytona is my favorite. 116508 PN dial

I've yet to own a PM piece but the Smurf looks better every time I see one. I've never seen one in person though.
