Rolex Clasp Code Question

Hi there! I’m a newbie on this specific forum but I have a GMT 16700 and I noticed that the clasp has two clasp codes (v1 and x1). Picture is attached. I am very curious as I have never seen two codes before. I have seen some that are designated “S” to signify service alongside with the normal clasp code.

Has anyone seen this before or know what it means? Any insight will be appreciated. Thanks.
