Cellini - Rolex, please listen...!
I would love to buy a Cellini with a mechanical movement. Indeed, I ran to buy one when the current line of Cellini watches was launched. However, I backed off when I tried one on my wrist.
The current Cellini is way too bulky and large for a dress watch. Also, the dial is too busy with the deep radial grooves. No matter how much I try to like it, I cannot. By the way, my wrist is 7 3/4”. For the above, I would appreciate it a great deal if Rolex would launch a rather thin, 38.5mm dress watch with three hands and date in precious metal on a strap. Does anyone else agree? |

I disagree. I love the Cellini and the Guilloche dial. In RG it is beautiful, IMO.

I disagree. Rolex has endeavored to make this line relevant and I think they are succeeding.

I totally agree. The case and lugs are just too thick. Plus the domed caseback doesnt sit well on wrist. Maybe next iteration, decades later...
