When I picked up my 12 series, my friend came with me and he was wearing his 11. We spent quite a bit of time with the two side by side. The differences have already been pointed out here but for what's it's worth, having had both in hand, there's really nothing in it. If you get a chance, buy either and you won't regret it. It's a wonderful piece.

Much appreciated everybody! Just purchased a mint 126660, with all the original tags and papers, from a reputable watch store in California. Got a fair price after looking around for a month. Can’t wait to get this bad boy!!! So excited!

Have both, 126660 is far better in my opinion.

Welcome to the Deepsea Club

I've had mine coming on a decade and I only love it more each year.

It’s not worth the premium IMHO, ignore the grossly over exaggerated tales about the old one being top heavy and the extra 1mm making a considerable difference - if you did a blindfold test with both new and old on your wrist you wouldn’t notice or feel any difference which is why I find it hilarious when people say they tried on the old one hated it then experienced a ‘miracle’ with the new one.
