Your favourite full WG professional Rolex, in production

Pick your favourite, just for fun.

Only full gold watches, no OF, and from the professional line.

The photos were picked randomly from iG, with the solely purpose of helping out with the poll.

Have fun!

I chose sub, but if I liked/needed a gmt the meteorite dial would have been my choice. What a beauty

Mine also, didn't have a WG piece i truly loved, before seeing this beauty. I think the meteorite dial works flawlessly with the BLRO and that out of space rock is so special when you think about it: age, texture, extraterrestrial, crystalline shimmer, definitely my favourite.

I voted the WG GMT-Master II out of this bunch, but I'd like to add that jeez, the black-dial version was nicer.

The blue dial isn't ugly, but the black gloss contrasted a little more nicely against the WG shine.

You’re missing a trick...the best white gold models are arguably the ones only available in gold. The DayDate 40; more elegant, more classy and identical to the Professional models in water resistance, durability and ruggedness. Same screw-down crown.

And the bracelet is, to me, in a different league.
The whole ‘professional series’ hero-worship is surely due a serious reappraisal. All the Oyster Perpetuals are tough and resilient. But only the DayDate is sold just in precious metals. To me, if a model is available in steel, that’s its natural home.
And in case you think I’m biased....
Lovely thing, but I prefer my DD40 (just!)

Feel free to forward your pov to Rolex also, i'm not missing anything, i just used their catalogue naming. Obviously the classic line is tough and resilient, my focus however was towards the professional line. Bet you thought SkyD was special because it wasn't available in SS for years, yet no harm once it happened.

I love the BLRO with blue dial and can see that in my collection shortly. I also love the meteorite so you never know but just wonder if novelty of dial would wear off on me.

I would have voted Sky-Dweller if given the option

Its a big watch with oyster bracelet so I consider it a professional watch

I voted for the BLRO meteorite, but the BLRO blue and Daytona blue would both be millimeters away. Not to mention I haven't seen a meteorite in the flesh.

I know you said FULL WG, but I’m going with the 116519LN anyway. It’s far more aesthetically pleasing than any of these models.

For me, it’s the WG BLRO with the blue dial. I just think it’s perfect and has a complication I’d use.

I’m between 2 and 6

I feel like the dial on 6 is such a classy and timeless design

I can’t help but wonder why John Mayer pocked the blue dial WG Daytona as a potential good investment (i don’t remember how he worded it) instead is this one

The YG Green Dial, I can see why, but with the Blue dial, although it is nice, i would argue that this steel dial WG Daytona might age better

I would choose blue dial GMT. When I purchased my Batman the store had a Smurf I tried on ... wow, that is one heavy watch! It seemed (easily) 2X as heavy as the BLNR on jubilee.
