If Patek is any example of what Rolex is aiming to become, then take a look at the re seller prices compared to retail. A Patek 5711 1A steel black/blue dial Nautilus MSRP $30620 C24 price lowest price $65000. So exclusivity just makes the product even more expensive, both at retail and in the re seller market.
