I am considering to get this Datejust, here are the info:

Model 1601
Cal.1570
Serial # 1688XXX
The serial # should be a 1967 model?
Does a 1963 Datejust has 1570 movement?

Somthing is not adding up, like you say, your serial should be from 1967

Edit the cal 1570 started production in 1965
