That's why personally, I think the new 42mm Yachty is a rip off. Sure it's White Gold, but your only getting a case that's white gold, not a full bracelet...and it's $30K. That's a ridiculous price for this piece.
So to add a full PM bracelet it adds another 11k to the price tag, then it makes more sense to you?

I had been so happy with my purchase...

But now I am emotional wreck. If only I had read this sooner. I could have bought the explorer and put the extra cash in the stock market. Thanks TRF what a buz kill.

Just occurred to me had I done that I would have taken a hit on the recent market decline and the used Explorer while my YM42 could be sold at a hefty premium having enjoyed it for several weeks.

Wow feels good to be at peace with the Rolex Gods once again.

No, but 30k INCLUDING the White Gold Oyster Bracelet makes sense to me. A watch case strapped to a piece of rubber for 30k does not make sense to me. But everybody has their own ideas of what they like and what they are willing to pay for these pieces. If it makes sense to you, then go for it and wear it in good health.

I love both, but agree with the consensus: it’s no contest. The YM is in a league of its own. It’s an incredible piece.
