No. It’s perfect. A beautiful and highly functional watch.

First, congrats on the incoming watch.

Why would it be?

Yes, I'll take it off your hands so you aren't to flashy.

Well my wife keeps commenting on how she, "loves how it sparkles", and "keeps noticing the strap", so .... yeah it’s too blingy.

But I can’t stop wearing it, since I’ve loved it since the mid 80s.

They should’ve put the oyster on the SS and the jubilee on the WG.

It’s possibly the most easy to spot as a Rolex among the SS line. It’s a beautiful piece but make no mistake, people who know anything about watches at all will know you’re wearing a Rolex from 10 feet away.

Who cares really

Guy at the next table to me at lunch today had a Pepsi / Jubilee (I think his wife was wearing a Hulk). Definitely noticeable in a good way, but not really a blingy look to me. Looked like a classy sport watch. The DD40 YG I was wearing, however..... LOL

The Pepsi on Jubilee had a really nice look in the metal, from 5 feet away :) Get it and enjoy it!!

As an aside, I was in an affluent shopping area at the time and I would bet I noticed a dozen various Rolex references over a few hours. Myself, my wife & daughter had 3 between us, so we added to the count for sure. Of course, there were also many others including a few Cartier's that caught my eye (maybe next on the list). Odd to see that many in the wild - but not that unexpected in some areas.

Cheers

To be honest, yes I think so. It is an obnoxious looking watch. I would go 16710 for half the money and not even think twice.

For me, yes. Blingy in a good way, although not very suitable for daily use IMO. The attractive looking bezel, plus the eye catching jubilee makes it a blingy piece. That is also what makes me thinking of selling it as I’m not being comfortable being so “flashy” although it is very very very comfortable for daily use.

It’s got more bling than I wish to have....mainly because of the jubile bracelet.
Watch would be perfect with a brushed oyster.....

It's a beautiful watch, far far from bling in my opinion.

Definitely bling, if compared with a Sub or Daytona for example. But it is beautiful and fine to wear.

For some, no. For me, yes. A professional model looks better on a brushed oyster bracelet, IMHO. The GMT on jubilee looks busy and blingy.
