26331st as a daily wearer
Hi guys, I am really close to put my name on the list for a ROC 26331st.
This is my first experience with AP but, with a full transparency, I am quite concerned about whether this is the proper piece for a daily wearer. I’ve been a Rolex guy for a long time and expect my watch to be beaten rather than being too cautious while I am wearing it. I guess I’m just being too sensitive before I step into the world of Holy Trinity. Lastly, I would like to know if which dial color is versatile enough to be a daily wearer. Thanks! |

In my view, no, its just not in the Rolex daily wearer category. Its by no means ultra-delicate, but there's a big difference, and I think due to the much more detailed finish and engineering if you treat an ROC harshly you'll regret it and it would a crying shame for the watch. I'd have a less expensive Rolex as daily and keep the very special ROC for occasional. The 26331st on bracelet with blue dial and silver subs is lovely.

You can try for the AP blue. I think it goes well casual or dressed up.
I wore mine daily for at least 3 months and it held up fine. I do have a high wrist awareness so that might helps as well. Ultimately I think it comes down how hard or light you wear your watches. |

i think it depends on your job :)
if you are a mechanic or something like that - don't maybe you are sitting in a office - i think it's hard to destroy an AP in a office hope you know what i mean... |

I wear my 26320 as often as my daytona
They both hold up fine as daily wearers. Enjoy!

I wear my 15400 every day in and outside the office and even in the gym working on machines and with barbells etc.
No problems so far. |

For me it is not a daily, I'd only wear in rotation, but if marks bother you then you can have AP polish it every year, they can do 4/5 polishes with integrity, so that's a good compromise.

I am not sure if it will hold up well like a Rolex. But it you are not a “rough” wearer, I believe it should be ok. I would sooner pick the white/silver dial as it is very refreshing to look at.

Problem is, once you get one, you will prefer to wear it over Rolex.

I have a blue dial 26331st, and although I don’t wear it every day, I do wear it on walks/fetch with the dog, etc. I’ve gotten a few dings here and there, but nothing crazy.
It is a little flashy with the way the light interacts with the bracelet, so it might not be an under-the-radar type piece, but it’s not like it’s totally iced out either. In short, it isn’t an every day piece like a sub might be, but you could get away with it. More importantly, you’ll enjoy the watch, without a doubt!

You could give it a trial, if that is what your heart desires.

Unless you are very OCD about scratches, sure, 26331st can be a daily.

I wear mine everyday with a suit and have no issues. Most people don't know what an AP is, thus I think it flies under the radar a bit better.

Is the 26331st silver dial hard to get for first time purchase customers? I'm looking for one but AD in Kuala Lumpur told me the 26331st will be unavailable this year. I said I would put down a deposit for one next year but they didn't agree, said they don't do deposit without knowing the next allocation. They also told me to put my name on their waiting list. But I know that waiting list game is nonsense.
