A very Ill informed scam

Hi all,

I think this must be a scam.
There seems to be a lot of conflicting info in this auction.

Seller claims this is an F series 2003 but I don't think they made this watch at that time. I could be wrong but others should be providing input soon.

I agree. And if he is saying its an F, someone is about to get taken.

Err buddy Simon...good catch indeed...!

Those are stock pictures of 116718 GMT Master II(C) in Solid 18K Gold...
which is supposed to be launched n produced by Rolex from early 2007 or so...to begin with...

http://cgi.ebay.com/Rolex-GMT-Master...1%7C240%3A1318

There is NO freaking way...the eBay Seller - pristinewatch... could be selling that 116718 GMT Master II
watch genuinely...when he added that the watch is ACTUALLY??? an F series Rolex watch made from 2003...or something like that...!

2ndly...if one checks the Seller's ONLY 1 beautiful FB history in eBay...
purportedly which he received...
from a Buyer of his TELUX watch(whatever that is?)...
one would come to realize that the Seller himself had NOT given any
reciprocal FB to his Buyer...

This may be possible...
if the Seller had stolen the vital statistics of the Buyer...in eBay...
to have had initiated the FB...to himself from that Buyer's account...
without the knowledge or digital traces in the Buyer's FB account...
to begin with...the Buyer never bought that TELUX watch...purportedly
from the Seller in eBay.

1 Feedback received

Positive feedback rating Great eBayer!!! I was able to pick up watch same day. Great condition!!!!

US $799.00 View Item

In the same unpleasant breath...the Seller has listed another questionable watch in eBay...

http://cgi.ebay.com/Rolex-Submariner...1%7C240%3A1318

This looks to be 2 BIG scams...brewing up a storm in eBay...!

56 minutes to go into the end of the illicit listing...with scores of bidders wanting
to sink their mouth pieces(dentures) into the scrappy deal...!

Orchi prays for Lady Casper to get eBay to shut down BOTH listings...
at once...
n send the Seller to ...oblivion...!

He made over $12,000 for taking some good stock photos and posting the sales as if they were his own. I am working on this as the sales are over.

I will not allow these to go through.

I was at a conference all day and just got back.

Err buddies...in those auction listings...
the watches are said to be located in Utica, New York...

A quick check in the internet for "PristineWatches.com" brings Orchi...
to California's address...which looks to be a brand new website...
stating to have been in business since 1995...

Perhaps a call can be made to see if they have indeed listed
those 2 watches in eBay...IF SO...perhaps they could post
actual pictures of the watch showing latest pre-requested time...n date...!

Look at this part of the auction text:

" When bidding please bid with confidence. I have tried to sell items on ebay before and none have been successful. Many people have tried to purchase an item only to try and con me during the payment process."

Note that he has one feedback. All this adds up to a scam of the first order.

Like I said; never doubt a superstar. This has been rendered totally invalid, persons who purchased watches have been saved, all is right with the world.
