Ordering an oyster for 126710 Pepsi. Which would you choose?

Planning on ordering an oyster bracelet through my AD for my new Pepsi. Either the PCL from the GMT line, or the brushed steel sub with glidelock. Which way would you go?

Please note that 1. I can order any bracelet from my AD and have done this many times. 2. oyster on SS BLRO does work, it has been done by many

I wouldn’t waste my money. It’s looks great on what Rolex put on it...the jubilee

Mine is great on the perfect jubilee. I like the vintage vibe of the jubilee differentiating it from the Rolex sports crowd.

Not saying this isn't possible, but I thought it was highly unlikely. I was under the impression that ADs would not order parts for watches that they are not original to. Of course, you could tell the AD you have a 116710BLNR or 116610. I'd just check with the technical experts here first to make sure you find the correct bracelet and spring bars to fit the newer stainless steel BLRO cases.

I’d like to travel with it often and the jubilee kind of flashes it up a little to much for me.

Plus it just looks right at home on oyster

My AD orders me bracelets and yes it’s possible as long as you use jubilee spring bars. Please refer to above photo posted

Personally I'd go Sub bracelet to get the brushed center links and glidelock.

I don’t think the jubilee is flashy. It’s less conspicuous than anything on the SS oyster bracelet with PCLs. Another thing I enjoy about the jubilee is that it doesn’t show any scratches whatsoever.

If you just don’t like the jubilee that’s fair. But why did you buy it? Maybe you should have picked up the BLNR on oyster instead

I’m really surprised an AD would order that since it’s not original to the watch. ADs have to provide Rolex with the watch serial number on every part they order. I’m good friends with a Rolex certified watchmaker. ADs lose their status for things like that. Good luck

If you want to change it up and if less flashy is your goal, the best option is the glidelock oyster combo.

Only down side is that I feel the glidelock clasp is too large and chunky for the BLRO FWIW, YMMV

Just go with the brushed center links in your case. I love polished links but each his own. And if I remember correctly you weren't too keen on the PCL's on your Milgauss earlier, so if you do something wrong ( i.e. swapping jubilee) do it right

I'd definitely go with the glidelock. The PCL bracelet is the flashier/dressier option, but I feel like you already have a good flashy/dressy option with the jubilee. Also, the glidelock clasp is too convenient and useful to pass on, in my opinion.

Frankly, if I could only have one Rolex, it would be a BLRO on the 97200 bracelet.

My thoughts exactly. PCLs and Jubilee, to me at least, are too similar. If you're looking for stealth mode, get brushed oyster with glidelock...or source one of the black oyster flexes with glidelock from the WG YM.

get the brushed oyster. no brainer. i don't understand why Rolex chooses to bling these GMTs out with polished center links. They should save that for PM or dressier models. It's the one thing i'm not in love with on mine.

Thats odd that they will allow you to buy a bracelet outright now that Rolex requires (since Aug 2017) an old damaged bracelet to be sent back in to offset and complete the purchase order.
