Audemars Piguet Deposit System

Hi All,

I'm always reading and enjoying the forum, but my first post.

Has anyone given a deposit on a piece at an AP company owned boutique?

Is it done online through a third part payment site, instead of in the boutique like a normal credit card purchase? Just seemed strange to me, never experienced that before. Any thoughts?

Thank you!

I usually get a link via email for my 25% deposit to apna-payment.audemarspiguet.com

Interesting. In my experience with the AP House in Munich I got an invoice, and wired them the required deposit with the wire information on the bottom of the page.

Maybe this is an AP North America thing?

30% deposit for a grey 15500 was processed as a regular CC payment by the boutique in Taipei 101. Supposedly another month until I can pick it up

No prob. Use to have to pay the remaining 75% by wire to get out of state shipping sans tax but I've heard that's over so I assume it can all be paid via card now.

AP owned boutiques ask for 25%.

AP partnership boutiques, such as Westime, ask for full payment deposits on 15500s, 15202s, and chronos. All other pieces are 10k deposits. With the more expensive pieces (>60k), it's more, but I haven't been told an exact amount.

Was given the option of paying a 25% deposit, or pay in full (which I was told would potentially lead to getting the watch sooner). Both options were offered through the AP online payment system. I chose to pay in full by credit card.

Thank you all very much! I ended up going to the boutique and paying my deposit via credit card in the store. I was much more comfortable doing it the traditional way and receiving a formal receipt. Thank you to everyone for your comments!

That's great to hear and glad you found a way to make it comfortable.

Now the most important and exciting question: What do you have incoming?
