That is a losing trade both in terms of value and in terms of wrist presence

Glad you've decided to keep the AP. I wouldn't do a straight trade for the Daytona, let alone think about adding $10K.....

Which AP ROC RG do you have? Is it a 39mm or 41mm?

Wait for one from
An AD at Msrp. Keep the RO. Just my opinion
Thanks for your kind input. Yes just have to be patience now especially in this market condition

Yes thank you for your input. I was hoping to do a straight trade but the AP was quoted way below the daytona's asking price. Quite a hard pill to swallow

Yes I rarely wear it because I keep it for special occassion or for the day when I feel I "deserve" to wear the ROC if you understand what I mean

Well I own the ss daytona ceramic with black dial and I really like how it fits on my rather small wrist and the ROC fits quite big.

That was 1 of the factors why I was thinking of trading it with the daytona. The daytona is yellow gold so maybe its has a more 'bling' factor compare to the rose gold of the ROC

Glad you pulled back. The Daytona looks nice but the hype/price is braindamageing.

Oh I see

Well fit is very important too

I wouldn’t wear a 44mm watch, no matter what it is

If the AP is too big, then going for the Daytona is perfect for you. Is the price difference the best you can find among the used dealer network? If u really like the John Mayer Daytona and you don't mind topping up 10k, then go get it.

Would hate to see you do that. Premium entirely associated with that dial which you may be able to source directly from Rolex if you had another YG Daytona of the same vintage without the upfront pain. Good luck.
