Current pricing used TT sub blue dial

What is a reasonable price to purchase a two tone submariner (16613) for in the US? It’s from a private party with all original parts and box but no papers. Offered at $8300 but hoping to negotiate. It was recently serviced. What’s the current market value? Thanks!

Not a great pic, but it looks like the crown side lower lug is a good amount thinner than the other side. The crown guards are demolished. Polishing job removed a decent amount of metal. I would pass as it would bother me, and you can do better in that price range.

Good luck hunting for the perfect 16613 for you. They are iconic watches and I wear mine more than anything else in my collection.

I wouldn't buy that watch. Awful polishing job took off so much metal. Yuck.

Not worth more than $5k. It's got lug holes so no SEL and like mentioned above, it's been way over polished.

2004-2006 should be about $8000 or a tad over. I ended up getting a 2018, but had been looking at earlier stock.

WTF happened to those crown guards?!?!? Looks like an angry beaver went at it with an angle grinder...

Really wish there was a better picture. Price seems inline but you should be able to get a nice example at that price point.

Photo is likely bad on purpose so a buyer can't see up close just how much of a hot mess this watch is.
