I have a 15300OR which I love, but it lacks that raw AP DNA of the stainless and I’m on the list at the NY boutique for a black or gray dial 15500 (whichever comes first), but I’m thinking about cancelling my 15500 and getting a used 15300ST. I think a 15300ST would be more complimentary to my 15300OR than the 15500.

Not sure off hand but it would be the same as the OR.

To think I sold my black dial for $15k a couple years back. The watch world is just nuts right now.

15202ST blue dials are selling for north of $45K?! I almost shit my pants when I saw that. I have been not keeping up with he market but that seems crazy to me.

15300 every day...just feels more like a solid watch to me, and setting the date is not a PITA.
I think the 39s are the best size for the ro range though.. When I had a 15400 for a short while it just felt off, same as a 216570 exp2 - something with the dial/case dimensions combination that is not right to me. Thinking about getting a 39mm chrono vs a fc diver... decisions decisions.... |
