Hi Rick, my dad marked the dial/face when he smashed the glass working on his car. Its between the 25 and half past.

Although others may differ, I would hazard that another possibility would be to refinish that dial. Although generally the preference is for dials that have not been refinished, if you would like to keep that dial but are tired of looking at that wound I think it would refinish nicely. Is it dark blue , or black. Either are less common that the silver dials and may be another reason to keep it if you like it. |

To be honest I was a hater and have slowly warmed to photos. My next step was trying to find one here in the U.K to try on. Currently SS models are so scarce but I found one and was blown away. I tried in on side by side with a GV Milgauss. It felt as special and if the prices were identical I'd have struggled to pick between them. Then factor in that it's over 25% cheaper and it's a no brainer. I understand the haters but I'm now a lover :) |

Air King 1999 14010
I went to the local shopping centre to pick up some cold medication. Walked out with this 1999 Air King.
I agreed with them that I could have a 14 day window to return it if buyer's remorse set in or my bank balance fought back. I keep thinking of all the other things I could have bought with the money! But, I have a pretty small (ladies) wrist so other watches that I like tend to be far too big. This one feels just right. I love the way the engineered bevel reflects light and I love the dark clean face and subtle numbering. And the picture doesn't show it, but it's in fantastic condition. 7 days to go but I'm thinking it's a keeper... |

My Air King 5700
Had this in my family from new, have receipt to show it was bought in 1959 for £54, this conflicts with what I read regarding the 5700 not being produced until the 1960s. I have never seen one like it with the same face. I have the original side riveted bracelet too.

Rolex air king precision 1960's
Hi all,
Can anybody help me out with some info on this? i was told its from the 60's, and 5700 ref, but i cannot find any information regarding this type. It seems to be in mint condition, so i figure most have been replaced / refurnished but i am no expert in that, so any help will be appreciated. ( also it doesnt say Oy P as most of the air kings do that i have googled ) |

Can anyone tell me about the Air King with the Dominos TM on the dial?
Was it part of a dominos rewards scheme? They don't seem to sell for a discount but surely the trademark lowers the value? |

Thank you very much for the help!
Is it still possible to buy the dials for the 5701 then? Where to look? |

The Air-King-Date is quite uncommon so finding a dial would be difficult. Try eBay. Did you check the model number on the side of the case? There should be serial number on the other side, too, which can give you a rough idea of age.

Okay, to bad, i think i might have overpayed then, but i really like the way it looks. How much do you think it mathers price wise that it is not the real dial?
It actually says 5700, and its says something like 858910 or something bit difficult to see for me, the first number might be something else 5 or 3.. |
