The watch that a lawyer needs to wear is the one that will make him/her successful by helping to win (or not lose) cases so as to make money to buy more watches

No watch can achieve that, so wear what you like!

One that runs very fast so you can bill more than an hour every 60 minutes?

What a ridiculous question like anybody else buy what you like and enjoy wearing.... Watches are not job specific ....if you're going to spend that sort of money and don't know what you like I suggest that you wait otherwise you might regret it.

I realize the OP has most likely bought his watch at this point due to the necromancer resurrecting this thread, but for anyone else in a similar predicament I would suggest they take a look at:

1. Lange Saxonia Thin 37mm

2. AP Royal Oak 15202st

3. Patek 5196P or any Calatrava for that matter

All three are understated for the price point we're discussing here, yet exude quality and will impress clients / those in the know.

You want to be a big shot, gold and bling.
You want to be under the radar, Explorer.

You asked, I answered.

Depends on the type of practice.

Criminal defense in Miami of drug cartel members: Gold Sub with diamonds.

Insurance defense in Cleveland: SS Datejust

I’m a lawyer. Look at the list of watches in my signature. They all get worn in the office and in court except the Tudor Black Bay Bronze and the PAM 372 which just don’t go well with a suit. The one that probably looks best with a suit is my DJ.

Depends on what you want to project to those that will notice. I most commonly see TT datejust and DD’s on most SR attorneys (if they’re watch guys). For your budget, I think I would get a TT Sky Dweller. I really believe you could get a champagne dial currently for 10% off the $17,150.00 msrp.

Dear lawyer,

Your clients don't give a rodents behind what watch you wear.

They care about RESULTS.

This decision is about YOU not your co-workers or clients.

If you want my advice, get a Timex.

Counsler, don't be a badboy...

You can get a nice TT DJ, but you will have to have an 80/90s personal license plate as well.

Do not get a YG sub - it's not going to work out.

I see many subs, SS and TT on lawyers, in the courtrooms and firms in LA.

Daytona is cool, too.

I have a feeling you are going to end up with a sports model SS.

Good luck !

GMT Master to move the dial in to the time when you started billing. Billing zone.
