In the flesh the Lotus NTPT 11 is too busy for my eyes with the wood grain look, also I find the colour scheme of the sub-dials a little too difficult to read. Prefer the old style carbon, but JMHO.

Just tried on the Red Demon at Cellini's - unbelievable watch. Also, saw conker's profile pic in person - I gotta say, I didn't love the pictures, but it's a show stopper in person.

I didn't try it on. You can only dance with so many women out of your league before it becomes sad.

Edo, I agree that's a bit less busy than the Lotus. Do you have wrist shots of the 11 two time zone model yet?

That is a really nice watch, thanks! Interesting that the UTC pusher is in a slightly different place than on the 39 (9pm vs 8pm) - I guess to keep the gargantuan width of the 39 slightly less.

Yes I find the second time zone function very useful. The full world timer RM is a bit pricey!!

haven't seen a RM world timer in person...not even at that the Las Vegas boutique. But the boutique did have an RM38 (approx $900k USD) and let me try it on...true piece of art on your wrist!

Sorry I detract...about 500k USD for the Worldtimer?

p.s. please tell me Conkers you wear that RM39 ALL the time? shower, swimming, breakfast, dinner, etc!??!

Think the world timer is about 600k IIRC. I haven't worn the 39 swimming yet but I did wear it on a flight and asked the captain whether he still used a slide rule when he is flying, amazingly he said yes! But never on commercial flights, only on his recreational flying where he doesn't have all the computer aids! He did comment it might be hard to use the slide rule on the 39 if the flight was a bit bumpy!

What's the general consensus nowadays on RM resale value? In the past, they tend to take a hit but with increasing popularity in Asia, I heard that it's been doing quite well.
