I didn't like the looks of the Milgauss before but now that i know a little bit of the history i see it as a tool watch and appreciate it more (Any color besides black/green looks weird though). But 100% NO's go for Yachtmasters I and II, Skydweller, modern Deepseas, oversized Datejusts, Airking probably... And just out of curiosity, why is that not many people like Ceramic Bezels??? My first post, been looking around this forum for a long time. Great community, finally decided to open an account... also very excited to learn from you guys.

Probably Sub

Too common, most of the guys on this forum seems to own one, plus too many "lookalike" from other brands... It is shame as I like diving.

  1. I would never buy a Yacht-Master II! I just do not like the design.
  2. Also i would never buy a Daytona on straps.
  3. And Finally, the air-king, i see not point on this model.
  4. And i will always try to stay away of two tone models (Except a SUB with blue dial)

What about you guys? Please be kind, i know i just a matter of taste, but Rolex owners seems to be passionate about their models.

Waiting for the opinios and the

Thanks!
I would never buy the Milgauss. I dont know, Its look dosent justify its pricey tag. It just look weird and cheap. Maybe its just my taste and people can disagree with me.

As for the Rolex Air King, its a senior citizen watch here from where i came from.

Two Tone model are great. If i can afford any Two Tone model i wouldnt care which model it is. Although i personally own a 16613 blue TT and previously own the black TT.

Only Rolex I wouldn't buy are the ones that don't suit me/my wrist. I love them all and its what's going on behind the face, bezel, strap that makes a truly great brand, in my opinion

Any yellow gold or diamond reference. Not my style at all. I also do not care for the Skydweller, Air King and I find the DSSD too big although I appreciate the achievement in creating a watch capable of reaching those depths.

As many have said, never say never but assuming I was paying (not getting them as gifts) I doubt I would ever purchase;

Cellinis
TT sports models
Models with diamonds
YG models
Skydweller
DSSD
Pearlmaster

That said, I would be grateful for, and enjoy, any of the above as gifts.

Are you serious? I actually agree with that list. You want to know what's left? Here are some that are left, that I would happily own (or already do):

Sub 14060m
Sub Date 16610/16610LV
GMT 16710
Explorer I
Explorer II 16570
Datejust
Day Date
Sea-Dweller 16600
Daytona
YM

Is that not a good enough selection for you?!?!

Funny how Sky dweller has come up over and over. I think that is a seriously beautiful watch that is way out of my price range. But if I had loads of disposable income I would love to own that watch.

+1 The Skydweller in white gold looks amazing in person, especially with the off white dial. A lot of people looking down on the YM2. A good friend owns one and imo it's much less over the top than the Deepsea and many realize. A YM2 can also fit under most shirt sleeves, so it's not as much of the look at me as most people think. The 4161 is an awesome calibre too. My only criticism would be legibility of the dials.

Anything PM
YMII--has no application to my life
2016 Air King--unless it blows me away when I actually see it, which don't expect.
41mm DJs--Not my style
Milguass--I like it, but I really don't need a watch with its attributes.
Explorer--I'm too fond of my 114270 to need the 39mm model.
ExplorerII--Too large.
6-digit divers--My 14060M is perfect for my needs, which don't include diving.

These are all fine watches, but they are unlikely to find their way into my collection, which it seems might be as big as it will get.

Good point, i.e. Any gold Rolex for a reason that they're too heavy and not really wearable.
