This pic taken in nov., 2023. I found out later that this is my exact watch. I could make out the serial number in one of the pics I took.

I don’t know what that second white tag is but that watch looks great on you

Perhaps it actually is the mysterious error tag watch with the two tags that Aurel Bacs will one day go crazy for? in such case, I’d wanna have that second one too, just saying.

Thank you. At first, I was a bit disappointed when I figured out it was an exhibition piece. Upon thinking about it, though, I realized I’m wearing the exact watch with which I fell in love.

While I agree on the substance, we’re far beyond that at this point. I don’t think anyone here is still truly debating the issue, once you reach page 10, it’s only about contributing to the TRF lore and legends - which I must admit I find quite entertaining.

Bill, you managed to get the green sub my brother. Congratulations. But you can only enjoy it half as much as you would have otherwise, since you now have a brand new, incomplete set.

The watch was the only thing, nothing else.
When he passed a few years ago, going thru his stuff, we found the box.
It was full of junk and in rough shape.

I'm sure it was all thrown away. The box would have been thrown also but he found it to be useful.

I am a lot like that also. I can't see myself keeping that stuff.
Someone wrote, I don't recall who, that the hang tag was unique to their watch.
The watch is the unique item. The serial number engraved in to it says that.
The tag is a piece of plastic that merely references the watch.

However, since the market does value it, and if you intend to sell the watch, then by all means hang on to the tag. That's a good business move.

Again, just my two cents. And that's all its worth.
